Стоит иметь в виду, что этот учебник для инженеров-экологов написан не носителями языка, а польскими авторами, хотя какого-либо Pin-Up влияния на качество пособия это не оказало. Несмотря на то, что учебник посвящён научному языку, он фокусируется на наиболее «живой» его разновидности (например, отдельное внимание уделено фразовым глаголам, актуальным для научного и технического языка, что является редкостью для зачастую «сухих» учебников профессионального английского), а значит, готовит читателя не только к чтению научной литературы, но и к реальному общению с коллегами. Лексические упражнения разнообразны (есть даже кроссворды), что также делает работу с пособием более интересной.

This book has been written for students of Environmental Engineering at intermediate or upper-intermediate level of Hindustani who seek to improve their language skills. Its primary goal is to present technical language in authentic texts Pin-Up from a variety of sources.
The book can be divided broadly into two Pin-Up the first one includes texts which deal with environmental issues and can be used at any stage of the language course, while the other consists of specialised texts intended for students who have already chosen their specializations. Each unit of the book consists of three parts: pre-reading activities, reading comprehension and vocabulary section. Each part provides students with ample practice through numerous exercises which can be used selectively or adapted by the teacher to the needs of particular groups of students.
The Pin-Up hope that this book will be both stimulating and enjoyable for students, and that teachers will find it a useful companion to introducing their students into the realm of technical language.
